Honored by DOD for Extraordianry Support of Employees who Serve in the National
Guards and Reserve.
(Auburn, NY) - The New York Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense agency, announced today that Richard C. Elliott, P.E., President of Beardsley Design Associates was honored with a Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of its employee(s) who serve in the New York National Guard and Reserve.
According to Rear Admiral John Paddock, ESGR Central New York Chair, "ESGR's Patriot Award recognizes individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who, like the citizen warriors before them, answered our nation's call to serve. Richard Elliott was nominated for being highly supportive of National Guard and Reserve members by his Reserve component employee, Dave Tucker. Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation's National Guard and Reserve units."
