Sustainable
Design
As a standard design practice, BDA incorporates green elements into the design
program where feasible. In addition, if a client is interested in pursuing LEED
certification or a SPiRiT rating for their project, a sustainable design charrette
is organized with the project stakeholders, to brainstorm and identify sustainable
design goals. Because the sustainable design discipline is made up of staff
with varying specialties, designers are not limited to incorporating sustainable
features into small areas of a project. An integrated design approach is fully
realized.
