BDA provided Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments at a former textile manufacturing plant and its surrounding site. The reports were required in order to secure funding for development of the Franklin Center, a luxury office space in downtown Syracuse.

Because of the building’s historic use and former underground fuel storage tanks, BDA performed a number of tests for heavy metals, PCBs, and petroleum products. The investigation revealed no need for remedial actions to be taken, allowing construction to remain on schedule while still ensuring a safe environment for future occupants.
