BDA provided complete site design for a 125,000 SF new middle school on a 42-acre site in Webster, NY. The design included parking for 225 staff and visitors; a staging area for 25 buses; an outdoor dining area; entry plazas constructed of colored, imprinted concrete that resembles brick pavers; three soccer fields, one baseball field, featuring a clay infield and subdrainage throughout.
The project included mitigation of disturbed wetlands and the preservation of substantial forested areas on the site. Coordination and approvals from several local, state, and federal agencies were required, including the Army Corps of Engineers, NYSDEC, the Monroe County Water Authority and Department of Health, and the Town of Webster.
