Carmen Lapine utilizes his knowledge and strong leadership skills to advance Beardsley and their clients. As a Principal, Carmen leads by example, working together with Beardsley's quality staff to help build strong client relationships.
Carmen believes in the importance of mentoring and encourages staff development by providing supportive environments that promote professional growth and allow staff to flourish. “Without knowledgeable staff in this fast-paced design world that we live in, quick informed decisions to meet compressed schedules and budgets cannot be made,“ says Lapine. This philosophy has helped Carmen build and establish relationships with industrial corporations, multi-family & senior housing associations, educational facilities, government agencies.
Carmen enjoys the variety of work that he manages, particularly the award-winning Parks and Recreation projects that Beardsley has completed in the Finger Lakes, Central, and Thousand Islands Regions. He also enjoys seeking out new clients and projects that enhance the Firm.
Carmen is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Water Works Association (AWW). Carmen volunteers for several local organizations, coaches youth sports teams, and serves as an executive board member for Salt City Little League in Onondaga County, NY.
