Michael can be described as an architect who targets service and the ultimate client experience as prerequisites to exceptional architecture. He is able to hear the one-of-a-kind story in each person’s life and use it to frame a holistic and rewarding design experience, leading to lasting relationships and architecture specific to each client.
Joining the firm in 2000, Michael has developed as a client-centric principal within the firm. While his training in psychology and empathic nature has defined his path as a means to connect to clients, he accredits his creativity and ability to see patterns where others may see complexity, to his parents; a family of artists and architects who gave him an edge that proved successful in 2010 and 2016 by receiving the highest award given for residential architecture by the AIA, Central New York chapter.
Michael is a present-day leader and embraces humility, empathy and open mindedness as primary leadership qualities and is driven to support others by promoting their strengths and sharing in their success.
Spare time is a luxury devoted to growing older with his two girls and wife Paddy. They love all that the Adirondacks have to offer, while enjoying the lakes, mountains, people and architecture of the region.
