Project of the Year in Historic Preservation/Rehabilitation Category Awarded by APWA New York Chapter

This project at the Robert Moses State Park included the renovation of buildings, reconstruction of a pergola covered walkway that connected three buildings and a covered picnic pavilion, plus site infrastructure and handicap accessible walkway improvements. In addition, an existing concession building was modified to restrooms and lifeguard/first-aid office, and another building was modified from existing bathhouse to a visitor center, camper registration, and beach/camper supply store space.
