Bus Garage Conversion to Olympic Mainentance Garage

As a term contract holder with the New York Olympic Redevelopment Authority, Beardsley provided programming, schematic design, and construction documentation for the renovation and conversion of an existing bus garage/warehouse to become the new OSC maintenance garage at the Mt. Van Hoevenburg Olympic site in Lake Placid, NY.

Facility Upgrade Details

The OSC maintenance garage renovation included one single 20-foot overhead door to accommodate trail groomers along with smaller overhead doors to accommodate additional equipment. A new thermal envelope and mechanical system was installed as required, as well as plumbing and restroom upgrades. Site work at the maintenance garage includes an exterior pad for parts storage, new electric service, new water service connection, and tie-in to the existing sanitary line running through the parking lot.
