Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Government Administration Building

Beardsley Architects + Engineers partnered with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe to deliver full-service architectural and engineering design for a new 54,000-square-foot government administration building. This three-story steel-framed facility consolidates 16 tribal government divisions, including Tribal Council offices, meeting rooms, and community education spaces.
At the heart of the building is a three-story central atrium, with open interior bridges that connect departments and foster collaboration. Narrow office wings with large windows maximize natural daylight, promoting energy efficiency and a healthier work environment.
Designed with a strong focus on sustainability, the building features a geothermal heating and cooling system, solar photovoltaic panels, high-efficiency lighting, and stormwater management infrastructure. Renewable and recyclable building materials were selected to ensure durability and long-term value. Beardsley also supported the pursuit of NYSERDA energy incentives to help fund key sustainable elements.
